Cancellation and Refund Policy

At Akshaya Lakshmi, we want to ensure that your shopping experience is as smooth and hassle-free as possible. We understand that sometimes circumstances change, and you may need to cancel an order or request a refund. This policy outlines the process for cancellations, refunds, and returns.

1. Order Cancellation

  • Before Dispatch: If you wish to cancel your order before it has been shipped, please contact us as soon as possible at akshayalakshmi0001@gmail.com or call +91 8105657959. We will attempt to cancel your order and issue a full refund.
  • After Dispatch: Once your order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled. However, you may choose to return the product after it has been delivered, following the Returns and Exchange procedure.

2. Refund Process

Eligibility: Refunds are available for cancellations or returns of eligible items. To be eligible for a refund:

  • The product must be unused, unwashed, and in its original condition with all tags, packaging, and labels intact.
  • The refund request must be made within 7 days from the date of receiving the product.

Refund Method: Refunds will be processed via the original payment method. It may take 5-7 business days for the amount to reflect in your account, depending on the payment provider.

Partial Refunds: If you return part of your order, we will issue a partial refund based on the returned items.

3. Returns and Exchanges

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item within 7 days of delivery.

  • The item must be in unused and resellable condition.
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the product was defective or damaged.

4. Damaged or Defective Items

  • Report the issue within 7 days of receiving the product.
  • Provide proof (e.g., photos of the damaged item and packaging) to assist in the process.

Once we verify the damage or defect, we will either offer a replacement or process a full refund.

5. Non-Refundable Items

Certain items are not eligible for cancellation or refund, including:

  • Personalized or Custom Items: Products that have been customized or personalized, such as monogrammed sarees or shirts, cannot be refunded or exchanged.
  • Sale or Discounted Items: Items purchased during a sale, clearance, or discount promotion may not be eligible for refunds, unless defective.

6. Refund Processing Time

Once we approve a refund, the processing time can vary:

  • Credit/Debit Card Refunds: Refunds will be processed back to your original card, and it may take 5-7 business days to appear on your statement.
  • Online Wallet/UPI Refunds: If you paid through an online wallet or UPI, the refund will be credited back to the same account.
